Namestovo, Slovakia.
Slovakia is one of my favorite countries in Europe. It’s inexpensive, people are friendly, the houses have a unique style and the landscape changes every 30 kilometers.
We stopped in a cute lakeside resort town called Namestovo. I really loved the colorful buildings.
We spent a few hours warming up in this restaurant. The beer was terrible but at least the garlic soup was great.
Driving through northern Slovakia we encountered lots of fog.
We had to stop because the fog was so thick and we couldn’t see the road.
Our two favorite things, outdoor markets and cats.
I fell in love with fall.
It’s 19 degrees and sunny in Slovakia.
Here are a few photos taken while driving.
